The 1968 Kinks album, The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society, is soon to be remastered and re-released by Sanctuary Records.
Ronnie! The Reagan State Funeral Drinking Game. Mmmm-mmmm. Gipperporn.

Kinks news! YES! 3-Disc set! Woo-hoo!
By the way, was the subtitle on the Kinks story a typo?
Sanctuary, Rhino in bidding war for rights to Eddie Murphy's 'How Could it Be'
Obviously in the wrong place -- and why...why would anybody be in a bidding war over that album? Demo versions of Party All the Time?

No, it isn't a typo. That's just part of the brilliant and magical charm that is what passes for journalism at Pitchfork. The pseudo-headlines are about the only funny thing that the site has to offer, and the news the only marginally worthwhile reason to visit.
Pitchfork is basically just Buddyhead for the unemployed, overeducated literati set.
Can you tell I'm a big fan?
