Took a Lot of Pills

Some information has surfaced about Drive-By Trucker Jason Isbell's upcoming solo album, Sirens of the Ditch.

I mentioned the Ted Leo tour before, but Minuteman Mike Watt will be on tour this fall, as well.

Speaking of tours, Interpol is hitting the road and will be signing records at shops across Los Angeles next week. Even stranger, however, are the Interpol Spaces the band has opened in New York and LA for the purpose of displaying Interpol posters (made by Shepard Fairey), Interpol neon signs and specially commissioned short films.

Uh, what the fuck?

The well of strange celebrity band configurations has apparently not run dry, resulting in the formation of Drums of Death—the superband of Dave Lombardo (Slayer), DJ Spooky, Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto) and special guest Vernon Reid (Living Color).

If you're into drugs, this could be just the combination for you: Luc Besson's new film, Danny the Dog, stars Jet Li and will be scored by Massive Attack.

If ya like Dave Lombardo, you should check out Fantomas. It's an awesome band that features the mighty Dave Lombardo, King Buzzo from the Melvins, Trevor Dunn from Mr. Bungle, and the godlike creature known to the world as Mike Patton. COMPLETELY unlike anything you've ever heard! Check 'em out. smooches............Christina

Thanks. I own quite a bit of Fantomas, as I also do Tomahawk.
